Going back to university has been a pretty shocking change to my life, and I've actually found it pretty hard to readjust to doing school work and reading when I should, so I'm behind in most classes. I've got chapters of each of my textbooks to read, and a couple of tests coming up in the next month that will really test my knowledge of my classes, so I've gotta "buck up." I have the worst procrastination problem in the world.
Last week or somewhere before, my buddy Eric mentioned a new "lifehack" he found that forces you to truly work on your tasks. Basically, the premise is that you work for 10 minutes (you time yourself), give yourself a 2 minute break, then work for 10 minutes again. You do this five times in the hour, so the "lifehack" is called (10+2)*5. You can read more about it here, which is the post where Eric sent me.
I'm going to give this lifehack a serious shot to work this coming week, and I'll let you know.
