After many months of patient waiting and wondering what would come next, the WordPress beta 1.2 has been released, with several great new features. I'm really looking forward to the sub-categories feature, as well as the ability to add Custom Fields to my journal. It's also got a nifty thumbnailin' feature for pictures, we'll see how that works out. I'll be upgrading this weekend, and barring any trouble will be able to throw some feedback at the WordPress team.
While we're on the topic of WordPress, I really have to thank the team for such a great product. Ever since I've switched from fusionnews to b2/WordPress, there has been nothing but better features and better support. I look forward to what is coming next.
Update: I've updated, and after figuring out some slight problems it's all running. I've had to shut off my latest updated feature on my links, but I'm sure the WordPress team will figure that out. The new Admin interface is very slick, and Post Slug feature is my new favorite. I'd recommend checking it out if you are willing to work through anything that might come up.
