Looks like Google is stepping up to the challenge that Microsoft threw down, by going directly after Hotmail a free email service provided by Microsoft. The downfall to Hotmail? You have limits of space, that are so small you have to keep deleting your emails to keep it from getting full in a day (all spam may I add).
What will Gmail offer? A full GB of space for you to keep your email. That is enough space that you will NEVER have the time to fill. Even if they were all HTML formatted emails, it would take forever before you would be able to fill it. I'm excited by this announcement, and it's exciting to see someone step up to Microsoft... sort of devious.
Oh, and Google wishes you a Happy April Fools Day (well, I do too.. but I have nothing to show you!).
