I was cruising the WordPress site and thought I'd check out the new WordPress screenshots they had put up. The first screenshot I looked at was just the post page, with a couple of noticeable changes. First off, sub-categories! That, I really like, and am excited for. Also, I'm excited to see what this 'post slug' business is about. A short key word maybe?
The second screenshot I took a look at was the Edit page, and I was once again impressed with the changes I was seeing. A new, cleaner layout to the list of posts or comments, and a new search feature. I always hated the way you had to sort editing with the current WordPress version. I suppose it was something that just carried on from b2. In any event, a very exciting and fresh change.
I viewed one more screenshot that showcased the new upload script that was developed for WordPress. With this new upload feature, you can even create small thumbnails of the picture you are uploading. I suspected a feature like this was on the way, but I didn't know it would come so soon. Though I do expect expansion on this level, because I remember Matt mentioning wanting to integrate something like gallery into the scripting.
Well, I tip my hat at the WordPress team once again. I am excited for your new release. And yes, I am a nerd.
