I can't remember a time recently in which I was as frustrated as I am now. I just finished finding out that the work I had done on my Gamecube was a gigantic waste of time. I get it back today, I pop in my NBA Live 2004 which had previously had some errors popping up in the middle of games, preventing me from playing. The first game I load up, about 2 minutes into the first quarter, I get the same error again.
Now this NBA Live 2004 disc is not the original one I had purchased almost a month ago, it is the second disc I have had. I wanted to make sure it wasn't the disc. But now, my eyes and thoughts are back on the disc and why it won't work, because it is only NBA Live 2004, and occasionally True Crime gives that error. I can not remember a time where Mario Golf, Mario Kart, or any others gave an error when the discs are new and completely clean.
So what are my options now? Return the game I love to play, to exchange for another copy that will not work? Or return for a refund and not be able to play at all? You know the golden age of console gaming is over when you start having software / hardware problems just like a computer...
