I've got that feeling again, and I might fix it tomorrow if things work out to the best. I've been sort of looking around for a new digital camera for myself, because the one I have is my Dad's and I can't really use it all the time. It's also something that is time consuming to switch back and forth between me and him, so I'm thinking getting my own would be a great option. I wanted something small that I could take everywhere with me, and something not too expensive. Of course, not something top of the line, but something that will last me for quite a while.
I was talking to Patrick about the camera he was looking to get, and he pointed out the Canon Powershot S400 which got some great reviews over at DPReview. I was looking around in Canada, and the price was way out of what I wanted to spend, but it being Christmas I really wanted my own camera to take to events and such. I found it at the local Best Buy today for $479.99, and there is some sort of financing plan available. I wasn't in the store long enough to really know what the full and real deal was.
I plan to go back tomorrow, before I trade in my skates to get a new pair (sweeeet) and maybe see what can be done. Nothing for sure, but there is no harm in asking more questions.
