I've had this slight debate with myself for the last while, and it regards how I'm to stop the 100+ spam emails I get each day. I developed my JezzInfo page with spam protection in mind, and that's why my email is in image format as to prevent spam spiders from picking it up. But now I'm left with another decision. For the last four weeks or so I've been using Outlook 2003's junk mail feature to throw out most of the junk I receive, but lately the spam train has been punching holes in what I thought (for a while) was seamless protection. So now I'm left with a question...
SpamAssassin + Outlook Filtering or increase Outlook 2003's junk mail setting to 'exclusive'.
I'm leaning towards activating SpamAssassin on my server again, and seeing if Outlook can just automatically throw it all away. It might as well be worth a shot, as I'm getting sick of reading and dealing with spam emails.
