About Jeremy
Jeremy ‘scootr’ Shields, the charismatic host of ScootTalks Sports podcast, is a true footy addict, gaming enthusiast, and former twitch streamer. Born and raised in Winnipeg, he’s grown up a fan of local sports, and survived through being a Jets, Bombers and Goldeyes supporter.
When Valour FC arrived on the scene, it was a part of a shift into the world of football, and he hasn’t looked back. A season ticket holder since day one, and former board member of the Red River Rising supporters group, his enthusiasm for supporting the club and the players is seen by many.
Married to his beautiful wife Hanna, and the father to two amazing kids, when he finds time Jeremy enjoys meeting others, having great conversations about sport, gaming and whatever else is happening in the world. He is diagnosed with ADHD, and is open about supporting mental health causes throughout his community and country. These interests led to trying podcasting for the first time with friends, and then founding his own podcast in 2020.
